Andrew Fleck Children's Services - Stittsville Centre

We offer an extended day program for Kindergarten and School Age children attending the Stittsville Public School. We also offer a full-time, year-round Toddler & Preschool program for children 1.5 - 3.8 years of age. We do not offer an infant program, but can sometimes enrol children as young as 15 months as long as they are walking. We have a child-focused curriculum where staff and children work together to expand and develop a wide range of skills and competence based on How Learning Happens and (ELECT) curriculum framework that builds upon the interests of the children. We promote a Forest and Nature inspired curriculum. The onsite Program Coordinator and full time teaching staff all have Early Childhood Education qualifications or a recognized equivalency, are registered with the College of ECE, and hold valid First Aid and CPR. Nutritious weekly menus provide AM and PM snack, a hot lunch for our Preschool children and follow the Canada Food Guide, consistent with the Ministry guidelines.
