Questions you’re about to ask
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The Free plan is free forever. You only add payment if you upgrade to Premium.
What happens if I downgrade Premium to Free?
Nothing is deleted. Your listing stays live and your applications and message history are kept. But messaging, waitlist and AI drafts lock the moment Premium ends, so you cannot open or read them until you re-subscribe, and no new ones come in. Videos and social links also stop showing on your public listing. One thing to redo by hand when you come back: downgrading switches your waitlist off, so turn Accept Waitlist Applications back on.
What happens when my 14-day trial ends?
If you added a payment method, we charge the plan you picked on day 15. That is $19.99 CAD for monthly or $199.90 CAD for annual. If you did not add a card, the subscription ends and your centre goes back to Free, so Premium features like the waitlist and parent inbox close until you subscribe. Nothing is deleted. You can cancel or switch plans from your dashboard at any point.
How long does claiming take?
Under a minute by email code if we already have your centre’s email on file. Document upload works for every centre and our team reviews within 1 to 2 business days. A text code is an option too, though many centre lines are landlines that cannot receive texts. Claiming only proves you own the centre. If your centre is not in our directory yet, publishing the new listing is a separate review.
Do you charge families anything?
No. Families use KinderPage for free, always. We do not take a cut of tuition, enrolments, or waitlist applications, and we never sell provider contact info to third parties.
Do parents need a KinderPage account to message me?
They need a verified email, which takes under a minute. That filter is deliberate. It keeps spam and lead-gen scrapers out of your inbox.
Does the AI understand French or CWELCC rules?
AI drafts are English-only today. The assistant flags subsidy and licensing questions for you to answer personally instead of inventing rules.
Can I import my existing waitlist spreadsheet?
Not yet. We’re working on it. For now you can add families one at a time, or have them resubmit through your listing.
