City View Centre for Child & Family Services (Group Care)

City View Centre for Child and Family Services is an educational daycare centre. We provide an enriching environment with 10 Infant spaces, 30 Toddler spaces and 72 Preschool spaces. We are a non-profit organization that is open from 7-5:45 Monday-Friday, operating year round, except on statutory holidays. The program is funded by the City of Ottawa and the Ontario Ministry of Education. We are part of the CWELCC program. Program:1 The average age of the children is 12-18 months. Younger children will on a case by case basis. Children enjoy an am and pm snack as well as lunch. They enjoy many different activities, including art, sensory and outdoor play.Program:2 We have two Toddler programs at the centre. Both programs have 15 children, with a 1-5 ratio. The children range in age from 18-30 months. Children enjoy an am and pm snack as well as lunch. They enjoy many different activities, including art, sensory and outdoor play, as well as structured and unstructured activities based on the children's interests.Program:3 We have 3 Preschool programs with 24 children in each program. Each program has a 1-8 ratio. Children enjoy an am and pm snack as well as lunch. They enjoy many different activities, including art, sensory and outdoor play, as well as structured and unstructured activities based on the children's interests.
